Property Description

Set back from the road, not far from the 200 acres of Harrogates famous Stray, Wedderburn Lodge is a quiet, calm retreat, a place to unwind away from the world outside.

Harrogate in Bloom-winning gardens surround the property, colourful outside spaces with seating have been created in which to relax and enjoy the summer sun.

No. 7 sits on the ground floor of a carefully-maintained building of apartments for owners over 55, and so has the benefit of its own direct access to the gardens via a door from the living room. This sheltered spot is the perfect place for your morning cuppa!

Inside No. 7, the apartment has plenty of natural light in all the main rooms, and is neutrally decorated and carpeted ready to move into.

As well as the window and door out to the gardens, the living room has lots of space for both a dining and a sitting area, and has an elegant fire surround and electric fire as both a focal point and a little extra warmth on winter evenings.

A really nice modern kitchen leads off the central hallway, and includes an eye-level oven, microwave, and an electric hob in addition to a range of storage cupboards and work surfaces to two sides. Everything is laid out well for ease of use, and appears clean and cared for.

The bedrooms are private and peaceful, and have a pleasant outlook over the gardens. The first bedroom comes with a large wardrobe and plenty of room for either a double or two single beds. The guest bedroom is smaller, but equally well finished. There are two further guest bedrooms available in the building for a small rental cost for when visitors come to stay.

The bathroom has a modern electric shower over the bath, and an additional heater to take the chill off on cold mornings. All of the bathroom fittings such as mirror and storage cabinet are included in the sale. Along the hallway two large storage cupboards house the electric water heater and shelving, and theres room to add a washing machine if that would be preferred to the communal laundry room.

7 Wedderburn Lodge is a comfortable apartment, in beautiful grounds, and will appeal to a buyer looking for a quiet position, convenience of the location, and the peace of mind of a secure building in a friendly community environment.
